Haiti Has Already Won with Precedent-Setting Impeachment Hearing

Impeaching President Jovenel Moise is highly unlikely. The charges against him are founded, deserve to be heard, but again, it is unlikely that it will reach the High Court of Justice, the Senate, by passing in the Chamber Deputies. Nonetheless, there is a win in there.

A precedent is being set today. Haiti has never taken an impeachment process this far. The political climate in the country should be worrying for those involved in corruption, whether of the past decades, presently, and most importantly, those who make look to in the future.
