Trump Administration Extends Haiti TPS to January 2021

The U.S Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Friday announced the extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians as well as nationals of 5 other countries.

Haiti, including, El Salvador, Honduras, Nepal, Nicaragua and Sudan will continue having validity beyond their 2020 expiration dates through January 4, 2021.

The notice automatically extends the validity of Employment Authorization Documents; Forms I-797, Notice of Action; and Forms I-94, Arrival/Departure Record (collectively, TPS-related documentation).
