Call for Women Entrepreneurs in Haiti

The Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is an international program to teach women around the world to be successful entrepreneurs, the institution's call for applicants reads. The deadline for applicants is posted for August 9, 2019 by the US Embassy in Haiti, via its Twitter account, gave August 11, 2019 at midnight.

It is a 12-week program where participants will refine their businesses through an online course Dreambuilder, as well as through in-person workshops and seminars every Saturday through the Fall of 2019, at Impact Hub Port-au-Prince.

Requirements are:

  • Women 25 years or older
  • Within driving distance to Turgeau, Port-au-Prince
  • Business that is in Startup Phase (3 years or younger)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Speak and understand English
  • Has access to laptop or computer
