On Friday, September 13, Pope Francis met with the president of Lamborghini and officials from the OMAZE Foundation where he received a check of €900,000 ($1 million [USD]). A portion of this money, $200,000 will go to rebuilding a Seminary and a Children's School that the church has in Haiti that were destroyed in the 2010 earthquake.

The money was raised through the auction of a custom "Pope" Lamborghini Huracan. White with gold trim with Pope Francis hand written signature on November 15, 2017, the vehicle raise over $1 million. The winner of the auction was a citizen from the Czech Republic who was present on Friday.

But also the winners are those who will benefit from the schools in Haiti. There are others as well. The rest of the money will go to other projects.

The Pope John XXIII Community (women victims of trafficking and prostitution) on the tenth anniversary of the death of Don Oreste Benzi and in the fiftieth anniversary (in 2018) of the Foundation of this Community (300,000.00 euros); to the Foundation "Aid to the Church in Need" for the reconstruction of the Nineveh plain (200,000.00 euros); to two associations indicated by the Automobile House: Amici Centrafrica Onlus and GICAM (160,000.00 euros).
