FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, USA (sentinel.ht) – What was to be a routine appearance in a Broward County court on Tuesday ultimately resulted in the arrest of Dieuson “Kodak Black” Octave for violation of probation according to the court.
Officials say Kodak violated his probation from a previous drug arrest on which he was sentenced to house arrest and probation for five years. Six months in, he was arrested for leaving his Pembroke Pines residence for non-work or public service related reasons.
Justice officials appear to be relying on Instagram posts where the rapper is at a South Florida nightclub and at a boxing match in Cincinnati. Both instances could arguably be considered work related by records also show Octave failed to complete a court-ordered anger management program.
The rapper was released from jail in December after posting a $100,000 bond.
