MIRAMAR, Florida, USA (sentinel.ht) – Former Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe continues to rack up accolades since leaving his seat at the head of the Haitian government.

On January 7, 2017, he was awarded a plaque of honor by the Haitian Music Awards Association, In Appreciation for Outstanding Commitment to Service.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Lamothe spoke of Haiti being a beautiful country and called upon the efforts of each individual to promote the country, its history and show their pride.

He welcomed the first Prestigious Haitian Music Awards and said it was an activity that merits the support of the community.
