BRIGHTON, Massachusetts, US (sentinel.ht) – Green Party candidate Jill Stein said the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server should be reopened.

In an interview with CNN, Dr. Stein said “the American people are owed an explanation for what happened and why top secret information was put at risk, why the identity of secret agents were potentially put at risk.”

The Green Party is supporting 5 senatorial candidates and 26 congressional candidates in 2016 but Stein expressed support for the head of two house committees, Jason Chaffetz and Trey Gowdy’s House Oversight Committee and theh Special Commission on Benghazi.

Stein is trailing in the polls to Libertarian candidate, Gary Johnson, for fourth place. She is surely hoping to show the ability to fit into the role of Commander-in-Chief, where Johnson has failed to demonstrate over the course of two gaffes in a month.

At least on Hillary Clinton, Stein feels she has the advantage. She told CNN’s Carol Costello in her interview that “if [Hillary Clinton] wasn’t aware that she was violating State Department rules it raises real issues about her competency.”

CNN abruptly cutoff Stein after questioning Clinton’s state of mind in that interview that dates back to August.
