Clinton camp makes Weather Channel ad buy during Hurricane Matthew

NEW YORK CITY, New York, US (sentinel.ht) – Floridians tuning in to the Weather Channel for updates on the “life-threatening” Hurricane Matthew, a higher frequency of advertisements from the Hillary Clinton campaign will be on rotation for 5 days.

On Wednesday, the campaign purchased 5 days of commercial airtime on the Weather Channel beginning Thursday. Team Clinton is adding $63,000 onto it’s budget of $143.2 million for the state, that dwarfs Team Trump’s spending of $6.8 million.

For outspending the Trump campaign 23 to 1, the Democratic party candidate is leading in the state by 4 points within the margin of error. Florida is a crucial swing state that could decide the next president with its 19 of 270 needed electoral points to be come the new president-elect.

State authorities in Florida have order much of the east of the state to evacuate with manditory evacuations along the coast. “Life-threatening” is how it was described by Florida Governor Rick Scott.

The storm is currently forecast to approach the Florida East Coast late Thursday night and deliver 25 hours of hurricane force winds along the eastern coast and tropical storm force winds far west into central Florida.
