Haiti’s Jeffrey Julmis advances in Men’s 110m Hurdles

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil (sentinel.ht) – On Monday, Jeffrey Julmis put Haiti in its first tournament-round berth of Athletics competition at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

With a third-place finish in the first heat, Julmis advanced past the first round and into the Semi-Finals of the Men’s 110-meter Hurdles.

Julmis competed in the first heat and came in third place with a 13.66s finish. He will come into the semis ranked 22 of the 24 athletes to run.

The Kansas State University student will compete in the semifinals on Tuesday, August 16, beginning at 7:40 PM EST. Check out Haiti’s upcoming events and results.
