WASHINGTON, D.C. (sentinel.ht) – A 27-year old worker at the Democratic National Committee was murdered and on Sunday, Wikileaks Founder, Julian Assange, suggested this man was their source.
Wikileaks has already put up a $20,000 reward for information about the murder. The Washington D.C. Metro Police put up another $25,000 reward.
Redditors, discussing the murder of Seth Rich, who was the DNC’s voter outreach coordinator, said that at the time of his shooting, he was headed to the FBI to contribute something to an “ongoing court case” possibly involving the Clinton family.
D.C. police have portrayed the shooting death of Rich as a robbery but his father, Joel, told reporters “if it was a robbery — it failed because he still has his watch, he still has his money — he still has his credit cards, still had his phone so it was a wasted effort except we lost a life.”
Julian Assange was being interviewed on Dutch television. He was asked about the reward his organization has put up for information leading to the arrest of the assailant(s).
