2016’s Miss Haiti World Contestants

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Ouest, HT (sentinel.ht) – The Miss Haiti Committee announced its 20 contestants who will be vying for the crown of Miss Haiti World for 2016.

As part of the announcement, committee heads thanked all the women who participated in the casting calls through Haiti, in Cap Haitien, Jacmel, Les Cayes and Port-au-Prince.

The Contestants

1 – Christelle Youbain, 25. Student in International Relations. “Committed, determined, positive I advise young people to be of model.”

2 – Armelle Rose Williams, 23. Student in Legal Sciences. “Decisive, determined I believe we must dare to defy its fears in order to shine. Pou yon reprezantasyon konkrè de valè Ayiti nan Je tout moun.”

3 – Pierre Ganaëlle Toussaint, 19. Student in International Relations. “I represent the Haitian beauty.”

4 – Michaelle Theodule, 26 ans. Étudiante en Sciences Administratives. “Positive, Fonceuse, je n’abandonne jamais. Vingt fois sur le métier remettez votre ouvrage, polissez, repolissez-le vous y arriverez.”

5 – Suzana Sampeur, 20. Student in business management. “Laborieuse, optimistic I aspire to participate in the cultural development of my country. Education is the key to success for you young people.”

6 – Rosalie Romain, 22. Administrative Assistant. “Believer, motivated, I have never lost a battle.”

7 – Edith Elbrena, 22. Student in Administrative Sciences. “Curious, ambitious, loyal, passionate about culture and art. Children are the future, helping them to get a new Haiti.”

8 – Raquel Pélissier, 24. Scientific Research Master. “Quadrilingual, determined and active, I love my country. Ayiti se fyète m, li dwe fyète nou tout pou sa chanje.”

9 – Ruth Bettyna Orilus, 21. Teacher. “Believer, determined and positive I want to be among the best of the competition. With God, I will do exploits.”

11 – Rose-Sandy Lina Julien, 22. Student in Legal Sciences and Computer Science Office. “Determined and attractive, I rush to the top. Let’s assume our responsibility to change the country.”

12 – Cassandre Joseph, 23. Physician and Chiropractor, assistant, model, translator. “Laborious, active I want to be the image of Haitian youth.”

13 – Dafney Jean Pierre, 26. Business Management. “Independent, Organized and determined I want to contribute to solving the problems facing by my country. Haitians, it is time for the real action for another Haiti.”

14 – Dorothy Jean, 19. Student Secretariat. “Persuasive and respectful, I love my country.”

15 – Kensley Derosier, 20. Student in Economics. “Competitive and friendly, I am a woman of worth. Young Haitian dare to dream and be role models for the country.”

16 – Melinda Delatour, 22 ans. Student in Administrative Sciences and Journalism. “Persuasive and Optimistic, I think I deserve one of the crowns. Peace and reconciliation are the two pillars to make better Haiti.”

17 – Sarah Charles, 21. Student Nursing Sciences. “Dynamic, curious and passionate, I believe that every Haitian can play a role in the evolution of the country. Together let’s build another Haiti.”

18 – Danourah Bien-Aimé, 23. Executive Assistant. “Determined, I believe that the future of the country rests on us young Haitians. A Haiti peaceful and prosperous, together we will.”

19 – Rose Bélizaire Olga, 21. Student in Administrative Sciences. “Intelligent and optimistic I believe in a better future for Haiti. Haitians, let us unite to change our country.”

20 – Marcella Beauvil, 24, Administrative Assistant. “Dynamic, passionate, I fight for quality education for all. A strong youth for a better society.”
