NEW YORK CITY, New York, USA (sentinel.ht) – Donald Trump, on Saturday, took some blame off of President Obama when he said that his former Secretary of State, “Hillary Clinton led him down a horrible path.”

The Presumptive Republican Nominee made the statement as he was introducing his pick for Vice-President, Indiana Governor, Mike Pence.
Trump said: “the Middle East today is more unstable than ever before. Never been like this, out of control. After four years of Clinton, who really led the way, and led Obama down a horrible path. I don’t even think he could make these decisions this badly. She led him right down a horrible path. He didn’t know what he was doing.”
President Barack Obama, who endorsed Clinton for president, would never admit it but there was an instance in 2014 where it was clear Obama was not happy about his first term foreign policy. When he expressed this, Clinton lashed out publicly.
In 2014, after Hillary Clinton had left the State Department, President Obama was traveling on Air Force One and according to multiple reliable sources, when asked to describe his foreign policy, he said “don’t do stupid shit.” This was the president’s own words.
Accounts from the trip even said that at one point Obama stood up, headed forward toward his own cabin on the plane, and then stopped. He turned back to the gathered reporters, and, much like an elementary school teacher hammering rote learning into students, he said, “So what is my foreign policy?” The reporters, in unison, then said, “Don’t do stupid shit.”
When Hillary Clinton heard about the president’s concept on foreign policy since her departure, she actually lashed at what seemed a reasonable statement. She had harsh words for the White House’s foreign-policy mantra, saying, “Great nations need organizing principles, and ‘Don’t do stupid stuff’ is not an organizing principle.”
Too liberals who commented on this short back-and-forth between the White House and the former Secretary, it seemed that Hillary Clinton sullied the president with her policies and then is trying to distance herself from it. As if the cabinet member with her own private server was the sheep being led.
In Haiti, Clinton Cash has taken a good look at the conflicts of interests that have made the Clintons rich and Haiti in a worse state than it was after the earthquake. But none have looked into the role the Clintons played in terms of foreign policy, changing election results and taking the country from a democracy to a totalitarian regime in 5 years.
Donald Trump can strike a chord with progressives by continuing on this mode of attack.
