Edi Gathegi plays Haitian-American gangster in new Crackle series

LOS ANGELES, USA (sentinel.ht) – Kenyan actor, Edi Gathegi, will play a Haitian-American gangster in Hialeah, Florida in Crackle’s upcoming series, Start Up, premiering this fall.

The series is filmed in Miami’s Haitian neighborhoods and is expected to feature a lot of the communities culture on the screen.

Martin Freeman, the British actor who starred in The Hobbit, The Office and other hits, plays a detective trying to apprehend a Miami-based criminal tech enterprise.

The plot: Gathegi’s character teams up with a Cuban-American hacker, played by Otmara Marrero and a morally flexible financier, played by Adam Brody, to set up a new cryptocurrency.
