PORT-AU-PRINCE, USA (sentinel.ht) – A response to Olivier Martelly’s song supporting the PHTK candidate for president was released on Thursday by a group called Alo Baz, which asked, if the Head of State’s son is a thief or a kidnapper.
The Raboday artists of Alo Baz made a remake of their song with Zoedjo Beatz called Ki Chow Fe.
The accusations made in the song refer to serious charges of corruption and embezzlement facing the Martelly family.
The song cites the issue of sporting fields, where Olivier Martelly told the press he had several million dollars at this disposal to build the fields.
Alo Baz says in its song, after receiving that money, the young Martelly has not been seen.
Also refers to the testimony of wealthy businessman, Clifford Brandt, who was arrested in 2012 for being part of a vast kidnapping ring. Brandt told justice officials that Martelly had been the 6th ranked member of the crime syndicate.
The song was made to give support to presidential candidate, Jude Celestin. At this point, it is unclear if the campaign had officially commissioned the song.
